Jashadrian Morgan Sustains Injuries in Fatal Crash on 30 Freeway in Franklin County

 
FRANKLIN COUNTY, TX (July 26, 2023) – Officers identified 34-year-old Jashadrian Morgan of Mt. Pleasant who sustained injuries a fatal crash on 30 Freeway on July 15.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just east of Mount Vernon at approximately 12:30 PM. Based on a report, Morgan was driving a car eastbound on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
As other vehicles moved over for an emergency vehicle stopped in the shoulder, the victim slowed down or stopped in the traffic lane. Then, DPS said 57-year-old Gary Harper of Carrolton struck Morgan’s car with his pickup truck. The car then hit the SUV of 45-year-old Autumn Graves of Farmersville.
 
As a result, a 9-year-old passenger in Morgan’s vehicle sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Morgan was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
