TUCSON, AZ (April 24, 2023) – A child suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run accident in the 3600 block of East Drexel Manor Stravenue on April 20.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened near East Benson Highway and South Palo Verde Road.
 
Based on a report from the Tucson Police Department, the girl was riding her scooter at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a white 2018 to 2023 Chevrolet Colorado with black side mirrors struck her. The driver, a man who was wearing a lime green long-sleeve shirt, left the scene.
 
As a result, emergency crews sent the child to the hospital in critical condition.
