Cary Griggs Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Midland County

 
MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (September 5, 2023) – Officers identified 58-year-old Cary Don Griggs of Midland who died in a motorcycle accident on FM 1208 on August 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened about nine miles west of Stanton around 5:30 AM. Based on a report, Griggs was driving his 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on FM 1208 when he lost control, hit a curb, and crashed.
 
As a result, troopers responded to the scene and found Griggs on the road. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
His passenger, Carlea Paige Bullock, sustained injuries in the incident. Crews took her to an Odessa hospital in stable condition.
 
Troopers said the victims were not wearing helmets.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
