TUCSON, AZ (April 9, 2024) — Authorities arrested 49-year-old Carlos Nerio after a DUI accident that injured two people on Monday, April 1.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the multi-vehicle DUI crash took place near Golf Links Road and Craycroft Road just before 7:15 p.m.
 
Paramedics brought a man and woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
TPD said a DUI investigation determined Nerio was under the influence at the time of the collision.
 
Authorities said they arrested Nerio. After that, they charged him with the following felony charges: four counts of endangerment, criminal damage, and aggravated assault causing serious physical injury.
