Brianna Lopez Killed, Aaron Roberts Arrested in DUI Accident on Chisholm Trail Parkway [Fort Worth, TX]

Brianna Lopez Identified in Fatal Wrong-Way Crash in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (October 2, 2023) – Officers identified 22-year-old Brianna Marie Lopez who died in a wrong-way crash on Chisholm Trail Parkway on September 27.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened near Sycamore School Road around 12:30 AM. Based on a report, Lopez was driving a 2014 Mazda SUV northbound on the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, 32-year-old Aaron Paul Roberts of Cleburne was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck south in the northbound lanes. Subsequently, Roberts hit the vehicle of Lopez head-on.
 
As a result, Lopez suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Emergency crews transported Roberts to Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment before authorities arrested him on intoxication manslaughter.
