19-Year-Old Honor Wallace Identified in Fatal DUI Crash in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (October 2, 2023) – Officers identified 19-year-old Honor Elizabeth Wallace who died in a DUI crash on Monticello Avenue on September 24.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the North Central Expressway service road around 4:20 PM. Based on a report, Wallace was heading east on Monticello Avenue through the intersection.
 
Police said the victim had a green light. Due to unknown reasons, 27-year-old Lynlee Pollis ran a red light on the service road and struck Wallace.
 
As a result, Wallace and her passenger sustained injuries in the crash. Crews transported them to the hospital, where Wallace died.
 
Pollis had minor injuries. Officers arrested her on charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
 
To celebrate Wallace’s life, University Liggett held a candlelight vigil last September 28.
