Brianna Lexa Limas Killed, Three Others Hospitalized in Midland Car Crash

 
MIDLAND, TX (February 24, 2023) – 19-year-old Brianna Lexa Limas died while three drivers sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle crash on State Highway 349 on Friday evening, February 10.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal accident occurred approximately at 7:18 p.m., about 6 miles north of Midland. It involved four vehicles: a 2018 Peterbilt truck, a 2018 Buick Encore driven by Limas, a 2013 Ford Mustang and a 2022 Ford F-450.

Reports of the crash detailed that the truck heading southbound, drove towards the northbound lanes. There, the driver struck the two Ford vehicles before colliding with the Buick.

Limas, who was wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened, died at the scene, police said. According to an obituary page, Brianna graduated high school last year and was attending Midland College.

Meanwhile, the drivers of the three vehicles were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital in stable conditions.
