Annabelle Neely, Brandon Woods Killed after Eastland County Car Accident

 
EASTLAND COUNTY, TX (March 27, 2024) — Two 18-year-olds identified as Brandon Tyler Woods and Annabelle Neely died in a crash on Thursday, March 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident took place on 20 Freeway at around 7:20 a.m.
 
An initial investigation determined that the vehicle traveled west in the left lane on the 20 Freeway at the 357-mile post. Then the driver went off the left side of the roadway into the center median.
 
After that, the vehicle traveled in the center median. Then it vaulted into Russell Creek, where it landed on its front. The impact caused the vehicle to partially eject the front right passenger. In addition, it also ejected the back seat passenger from the car.
 
Authorities identified the two occupants who died during the crash as Brandon Tyler Woods and Annabelle Neely, both Abilene residents.
 
Paramedics rushed the third occupant of the vehicle to John Peter Smith Hospital in Forth Worth, Texas, with incapacitating injuries. Authorities identified the injured as 19-year-old Kaiden Nathaniel Newby.
 
Reports said the weather was cloudy, and the road was wet at the time of the incident.
