According to the Amarillo police, the accident occurred in the morning at 40 Freeway and Georgia Street.
 
Footage captured by a local news source shows a woman who was the driver of the vehicle that Krick struck. She’s confronting him after the incident. The video shows the woman is angry because she has her son in the car with her when the collision happened.
 
As police responded to the scene, Krick began to put on his shoes and then started running off. However, he did not get very far.
