16-Year-Old Jaxson Elliot and 17-Year-Old Jett Weinstein Killed in Crash on Highway 17 [Cordes Lakes, AZ]

Teens Jett Weinstein and Jaxson Elliot Identified in Fatal Cordes Lakes Accident

 
CORDES LAKES, AZ (February 22, 2024) – Officials identified 16-year-old Jaxson Elliot who died in a crash on Highway 17 on February 4.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Elliot and 17-year-old Jett Weinstein were traveling home after snowboarding in Flagstaff.
 
Due to unknown reasons, their car hit an ET-Plus guardrail on the highway. The guardrail speared into the car.
 
As a result, Elliot suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Weinstein suffered numerous broken bones and had a part of his leg amputated.
 
The cause of the crash was not yet clear.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
