Motorcyclist Brandon Fitzwater Identified in Fatal Accident on Highway 190 in Copperas Cove

 
COPPERAS COVE, TX (April 17, 2024) – Copperas Cove Police identified 29-year-old Brandon Wayne Fitzwater of Kempner who died in a motorcycle accident in the 1200 block of Highway 190 on April 7.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 8:30 PM. Based on a report, Fitzwater was riding a motorcycle west on the highway at a high rate of speed.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into another vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews took him to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he later died.
 
CCPD did not mention other injuries as a result of the crash.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
