Bobby Moreno and Cruz Moreno Dead, Briana Arredondo Hospitalized after Lubbock Pedestrian Accident

 
LUBBOCK, TX (November 6, 2024) — 38-year-old Bobby Moreno, and 40-year-old Cruz Moreno died in a pedestrian accident on Saturday, October 19.
 
According to the Lubbock Police, the accident occurred on the 4800 block of North 27 Freeway at around 8:37 p.m.
 
The initial investigation determined that Bobby and Cruz traveled south in a vehicle together with 20-year-old Briana Arredondo. Then Bobby and Cruz had a verbal altercation. After that, Cruz and Arredondo got out of the car and started walking on the roadway.

After the initial collision, Bobby also got out of the vehicle to check on the victims. Then a pickup truck moving in the southbound lanes hit him and Cruz.
 
Responding officers pronounced Bobby and Cruz dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, Arredondo sustained minor injuries in the first accident. A private vehicle then brought her to the University Medical Center.
