Bernabe Rodriguez Killed in Pilot Point Car Crash

 
PILOT POINT, TX (December 19, 2022) – 52-year-old Bernabe Rodriguez died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 377 on Tuesday afternoon, December 6.

Police also disclosed that Erik Rodriguez, Coyre McGallion, Jamie Clark, and Kathryn Cassella sustained injuries in the accident.

Based on Texas Department of Public Safety’s report, the accident occurred near Emberson Chapel Road, two miles south of Tioga. Initial investigation stated that an SUV driven by McGallion rear ended Rodriguez, who was waiting to turn left onto Emberson Chapel Road.

The collision caused Rodriguez’ vehicle to be pushed into oncoming traffic and was struck again by two separate cars driven by Clark and Cassella respectively.

Bernabe Rodriguez – a passenger of Erik Rodriguez – died at the scene, police said.

Medical personnel transported Erik Rodriguez and his other passenger, Carlos Flores to Medical City Denton after sustaining serious injuries.

Cassella and Clark suffered injuries and were also taken to the same hospital.

Meanwhile, McGallion received treatment at the scene and was released after.

The investigation continues.
