Benjamin Bruns Identified in Fatal Car and Bicycle Accident in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (March 1, 2024) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department identified 35-year-old Benjamin Bruns who died in a bicycle accident on Old Spanish Trail on February 18.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Rocking K Ranch Loop around 6:00 PM. Based on a report, a driver traveling near the intersection fell asleep and hit Bruns.
 
As a result, Bruns suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Neither excessive speed nor impairment were a factor in the crash.
 
Officers ask anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.
