Benjamin Brookhart Identified in Fatal Crash on Picture Rocks Road in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (May 23, 2023) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department identified 45-year-old Benjamin Brookhart who died in a head-on crash on Picture Rocks Road on May 17.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just east of Golden Gate Road around 7:05 PM. Based on a report, Jacqueline Klukosky was driving a Ford Fusion eastbound on the road prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, she attempted to negotiate a right curve at a high rate of speed. Then, she drove left of center and collided head-on with Brookhart’s Hyundai Accent.
 
As a result, Brookhart suffered severe injuries and died in the incident.
 
A passenger in Klukosky’s vehicle received minor injuries that required hospitalization.
 
Authorities booked Klukosky into the Pima County Jail for causing death by motor vehicle and for outstanding warrants.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
