Baxter Hosley and Garrett MacDonagh Die in Houston Speeding Car Accident

 
HOUSTON, TX (March 22, 2024) — 22-year-old Baxter Hosley and 23-year-old Garrett “Thievin” MacDonagh died in a speeding crash on Sunday, March 10.
 
According to the Houston Police Department, the fatal crash took place at 14400 Main Street near Fondren Road at about 9:25 p.m.
 
Witnesses told officers said a white BMW M4 sedan traveled southbound at a high rate of speed. Then it made multiple lane changes. After that, the driver lost control and left the road as he tried to get off an exit.
 
Footage of the BMW showed that it slammed into a pole near the Fondren offramp. The crash caused it to split in two.
 
The driver of the vehicle died at the scene. Paramedics rushed the other occupant of the car to a local hospital where he died. It is unclear who was the driver and the passenger at this time.
 
According to the Houston Police Department Sergeant David Rose, speed is the number one factor in the collision.
 
Officials continue to investigate the incident.
