Barry Casias Struck, Killed on 24th Street in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (January 31, 2023) – Phoenix Police identified Barry Casias as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on 24th Street on January 19.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thomas Road around 11:30 PM.
Based on a report, a vehicle struck Casias in the lanes. Officers found the victim down in the road.
As a result, he suffered grave injuries. Phoenix Fire crews treated him but they later pronounced him dead at the scene.
The driver remained on the scene. Police did say they believe impairment by the driver was a factor in the crash.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
