Arthur Vossler Jr. Identified in Fatal Granbury Car Crash

 
GRANBURY, TX (December 15, 2022) – The Granbury Police Department identified 41-year-old Arthur Lee Vossler Jr. of Granbury as the victim who died in a crash on Lipan Highway on December 10.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the 1700 block of Lipan Highway shortly after 3:00 PM. Based on a report, Vossler was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette from Loop 567 onto Lipan Highway northbound.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he rapidly accelerated and lost control of the car. Then, he slid into the southbound lane and collided with a 2015 Mercedes S5.
 
As a result, Vossler died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Mercedes, Kynan Murray of Crowley, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Crews transported the victim to Lake Granbury Medical Center.
 
They also transported a 15-year-old passenger in Vossler’s car to a Fort Worth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation.
