PHOENIX, AZ (December 5, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 28-year-old Aron Moreno who died in a hit-and-run accident on Thunderbird Road on December 2.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 36th Street just before 6:45 AM. Based on the report, police responded to the scene for a man who was lying unresponsive in the street.
 
When officers arrived, fire personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene. They identified him as Moreno.
 
Police believe a vehicle was traveling west on Thunderbird Road when it struck Moreno and left the scene.
 
No information about the suspect or vehicle involved has been released at this point.
