Armando Amezquita Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (March 28, 2024) – Houston police identified 29-year-old Armando Amezquita who died in a pedestrian accident on West Hardy Road on March 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Amezquita was standing in the main lanes of the road at the time of the accident. There was no intersection or crosswalk at the scene.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a gray Toyota Tundra pickup truck traveling southbound hit him.
 
As a result, Amezquita suffered grave injuries in the incident. The Houston Fire Department responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Tundra did not show any signs of impairment.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
