Antone Gregario Williams Dies in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident

 
LONG BEACH, CA (January 11, 2024) — Antone Gregario Williams died after being struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian crash on Pacific Coast Highway on Sunday, December 31.

The Long Beach Police Department stated that 40-year-old Williams had been walking across Pacific Coast Highway between Maine Avenue and Daisy Avenue when a vehicle crashed into him.

The collision left Williams with fatal injuries.

Initial reports indicated that two vehicles had collided into Williams as one motorist fled. Upon further investigation, it was determined that there was no hit-and-run involved.

The driver that struck Williams stayed at the scene and decided to cooperate. However, no arrest has been conducted.

Officials are still looking into the cause and factors surrounding the accident. No additional details are released at this time.
