Anthony Durham Killed in City Bus Accident in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 7, 2024) — Authorities identified Anthony Durham as the man killed in a bus accident on Saturday, October 12.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. at Austin Bluffs Parkway and Regent Circle.
Colorado Police said that after an investigation, they determined that the city bus had a green light. Then, it pulled into the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Regent Circle when the SUV hit the bus.
Emergency responders brought the driver of the SUV to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, he passed away from sustained injuries the next day.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the SUV driver as 46-year-old Anthony Durham.
According to CSPD, the incident was the 43rd traffic-related fatality this year under their jurisdiction, compared to 41 at this time last year.
