Rodrigo Torres and Angela Bray Dead, Princeton Ugwu Injured in Lubbock Accident
LUBBOCK, TX (December 13, 2023) — Two people identified as 41-year-old Angela Bray and 23-year-old Rodrigo Torres died in a crash on Saturday, December 9.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers rushed to the 5600 block of Avenue Q at 7:22 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash.
The release said 24-year-old Princeton Ugwu traveled north on Avenue Q. At the same time, Bray drove west on the 1000 block of 58th Street. Then the two vehicles crashed at the intersection.
After the initial collision, Bray’s car hit two parked vehicles and Ugwu’s hit another parked car.
LPD then responded to the scene. They discovered Bray and Torres in a passenger car and pronounced them dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, LPD also found Ugwu in a second passenger vehicle with serious injuries. They transported him via ambulance to the University Medical Center.
LPD said the investigation of the incident is still underway.
