Andrew McFalls Killed and Scott Chupik Arrested in Waco DUI Accident

WACO, TX (October 22, 2024) — 63-year-old Andrew Glenn McFalls died in a DUI accident on Wednesday, October 9.

The Waco Police Department said the accident took place on FM 308 and Meixner Road at around 7:20 p.m.

According to the Waco Police, the collision involved a white 2017 Ford F250 driven by 39-year-old Scott Chance Chupik and a 1996 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by McFalls.

Reports said McFalls died as a result of the incident. Meanwhile, Chupik sustained multiple cuts on his left leg.

While police interviewed Chupik, the affidavit said his statements did not match what police found out during the crash investigation.

Chupik said the motorcycle slammed into the front of his truck. However, police noticed marks that showed Chupik’s vehicle failed to remain in a single lane. The affidavit said the truck moved to the opposite side of the road. Then it eventually crashed into the motorcycle.

Authorities then arrested Chupik. They charged him with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, a second-degree felony. His records show he also has two previous DWI convictions.
