Man Killed, Marc Garrett and Amelia Cardenas Hurt in Visalia Car Accident

 
VISALIA, CA (November 18, 2022) — A man died while Amelia Cardenas and Marc Garrett suffered injuries in a car accident on Avenue 264 and Road 156 on Tuesday afternoon, November 15.

Authorities said at around 3:00 p.m. a 2005 Toyota Camry, driven by an 85-year-old man and with 67-year-old Cardenas as a passenger, came to a halt at a stop sign at the intersection. The Toyota then crossed paths with a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, driven by 61-year-old Garrett.

The Toyota driver suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.

Cardenas and Garett sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the Kaweah Health Medical Center.

No other information is available at this time. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances and factors surrounding the crash.
