Motorcycle Rider Allen Ray McCaffity Identified in Fatal Accident in Wichita Falls

 
WICHITA FALLS, TX (June 17, 2024) – The Wichita Falls Police Department identified 64-year-old Allen Ray McCaffity who died in a motorcycle accident in the 4500 block of Old Jacksboro Highway on June 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in front of the United Express Gas Station around 3:01 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on the road before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2015 Ford Fiesta was exiting the gas station to turn left and go north on Old Jacksboro Highway. Due to unknown reasons, the Ford’s driver did not see the motorcycle and as she moved to turn across the lane, a collision occurred.
 
As a result, McCaffity suffered major head trauma in the incident. Emergency crews attempted to perform life-saving measures, but the victim died in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
