According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in front of the United Express Gas Station around 3:01 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on the road before the crash. At the same time, a 2015 Ford Fiesta was exiting the gas station to turn left and go north on Old Jacksboro Highway. Due to unknown reasons, the Ford’s driver did not see the motorcycle and as she moved to turn across the lane, a collision occurred. As a result, McCaffity suffered major head trauma in the incident. Emergency crews attempted to perform life-saving measures, but the victim died in the crash. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
