Alfredo Silva Jr. Identified in Fatal Truck Crash on Highway 44 in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, TX (April 11, 2023) – Officials identified 35-year-old Alfredo Silva Jr. of Alice as the victim who died in a crash on Highway 44 on April 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at County Road 302 around 9:40 AM. Based on a report, Silva was driving a Ford F-150 westbound on the highway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he veered into the opposite lane and hit a large box truck.
 
As a result, Silva Jr. suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Two people in the box truck were hurt and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
