LAREDO, TX (August 18, 2023) – Officers arrested 21-year-old Alfredo Aguilar Jr. following a pedestrian accident on Pace Street on August 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the 1000 block of the road. Based on a report, Aguilar hit a woman in the lanes and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the woman suffered grave injuries. Emergency crews transported her to a San Antonio hospital in critical condition.
 
Officers arrested Aguilar on aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
