PORTER, TX (May 29, 2024) — Authorities arrested Adan Lopez, an off-duty Houston police officer, in a rollover DUI crash on Saturday, May 18.
 
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred at about 2:00 a.m. on FM 1314 in the Porter area.
 
When deputies arrived at the site of the crash, they discovered two people receiving treatment in the back of an ambulance for injuries sustained in the accident.
 
Deputies said they then determined that the driver of the vehicle, Norma Miranda Estrada, was under the influence at the time of the collision. They arrested and booked her into the Montgomery County Jail.

Deputies said Estrada wore her seatbelt when the crash happened while Lopez did not.
