Clearlake Pedestrian Accident on Emory Avenue, Adam Huskey Dies

 
CLEARLAKE, CA (August 9, 2022) — 32-year-old Adam Huskey died in a crash on Emory Avenue on Monday morning, July 25.

The fatal incident took place south of Mullen Avenue, according to the Clearlake Police Department which responded to reports of a vehicle-pedestrian collision at around 10:45 a.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, the police discovered a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 24-year-old Dillon Alan Mahoney of Clearlake with a passenger, and a motorized skateboard owned and ridden by Huskey.

Huskey, a resident of Clearlake, suffered major injuries from the crash. Officials later pronounced him dead at the scene.

Mahoney was arrested for vehicular manslaughter as a result of investigation and based upon probable cause.

Authorities booked Mahoney into the Lake County Jail. He was then called to a court to face his criminal charges on Wednesday.
