Man Killed in Ocean Shores Pedestrian Accident near Ocean City State Park

 
OCEAN SHORES, WA (October 23, 2024) — A 33-year-old Aberdeen man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 115 on Thursday, October 10.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 115 near the entrance to Ocean City State Park at around 6:57 a.m.
 
WSP Sgt. Marty Hays said that emergency services had received reports of a man dodging in and out of traffic on Highway 115. Then the caller reported a northbound Grays Harbor Transit bus hit the man near the entrance to Ocean City State Park.
 
The bus, driven by a 62-year-old Humptulips man, had two passengers when the accident happened. All of them were not hurt in the collision.
 
Hays said dark, foggy conditions may have been a factor in the accident.
 
Officers closed the highway for more than four hours as WSP and the Grays Harbor Coroner’s Office responded to the incident.
