Road Rage Driver Aaron Turner Involved in Fatal Hit-and-Run on North FM 51 at Scroggins Road in Springtown

 
SPRINGTOWN, TX (February 10, 2025) – Officials arrested 24-year-old Aaron Turner following a fatal hit-and-run in the 1100 block of North FM 51 on February 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Scroggins Road shortly before 4:30 PM. Based on a report, Turner had an alleged altercation with another person before the incident.
 
Witnesses told police Turner broke the rearview mirror off the 60-year-old male victim’s car. In addition, there was a physical altercation that led Turner to severely beat and run over the man. Turner fled the scene afterwards. Security cameras captured the moments he sped away on his pickup truck.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Authorities did not release any information about the victim’s identity.
 
Authorities arrested Turner on manslaughter charges.
