Driver Aaric Arlie Arias Dies in San Antonio Car Crash

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 24, 2023) – 20-year-old Aaric Arlie Arias died after a chain of reaction crash on Interstate 10 on Thursday, February 16.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near Medical Drive on the highway’s northwest side. Initial investigation detailed that a vehicle driving at a high speed, lost control, and hit a concrete wall before rolling over.

During the rollover, the driver ejected from the vehicle several yards from the scene of the crash. Then, a red Chevy Camaro struck the back of the vehicle before a third vehicle avoided the cars before losing control and hitting a tree.

Medics took Arias to a hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries. Authorities said Arias died some time after.

Meanwhile, the other two drivers did not sustain injuries. However, officials transported both to the police headquarters to be tested for DUI.
