BOULDER, CO (January 9, 2024) – The Boulder Police Department confirmed that a 90-year-old woman died in a pedestrian accident on Broadway on January 3.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Alpine Avenue shortly after 10:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim was walking inside a crosswalk before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 35-year-old woman was driving a Chrysler Pacifica turning from Broadway to Alpine Avenue. Due to unknown reasons, the driver hit the victim.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the crash. Emergency crews transported her to a local hospital, where she later died.
 
Police did not suspect speeding or impairment as factors in the crash.
