85-Year-Old Kay Tallent Identified in Fatal Accident on 25 Freeway in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (July 5, 2023) – Colorado Springs Police identified 85-year-old Kay Tallent who died in a car accident on northbound 25 Freeway on June 12.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened before noon near the Bijou Street exit. Based on a report, the victim was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
It was raining heavily at that time. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control and rolled over, ejecting Tallent.
 
As a result, Tallent sustained grave injuries. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office confirmed her death at a hospital.
 
The driver also sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
