Luis Valles Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (October 26, 2023) – The El Paso Police Department identified 80-year-old Luis Valles who died in a hit-and-run on Kansas Street on October 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 3rd Avenue. Based on a report, Valles was run over by a vehicle. The driver then fled the scene without giving aid to the victim.
 
Officers found Valles unconscious and lying near the intersection.
 
As a result, police said he suffered grave injuries. First responders provided aid and rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
