80-Year-Old Larry Anderson Identified in Fatal Accident in Odessa

 
ODESSA, TX (October 4, 2023) – Officials identified 80-year-old Larry Lee Anderson of Odessa who died in an accident on 10th Street on September 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Highway 302 around 4:15 PM. Based on a report, a 72-year-old Odessa woman was driving a Mercedes Benz westbound on 10th Street at the time of the crash. Anderson was her passenger.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the woman failed to yield the right of way to a Dodge Ram that was heading southbound on Highway 302.
 
As a result, Anderson sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The woman sustained serious injuries. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital in critical condition. Two men in the Dodge truck were not hurt in the crash.
