AMARILLO, TX (October 4, 2023) – The Amarillo Police Department identified 69-year-old Johnathan Mack Minium who died in a pedestrian accident on Wolflin Avenue on September 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Port Lane around 11:44 AM. Based on a report, a woman was driving a black Dodge Journey westbound on Wolflin Avenue prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, Minium was diagonally crossing the street. Due to unknown reasons, the woman hit him while she was driving through the intersection.
 
As a result, Minium sustained grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
