Larry Dean Morris Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Trent
TRENT, TX (November 20, 2024) – Authorities identified 76-year-old Larry Dean Morris who died in an accident on Northwest 1st Street on November 4.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Oak Street. Based on a report, Morris was operating a motorized mobility device on the shoulder of the westbound traffic lane on Northwest 1st Street at the time of the crash.
When he entered traffic, a pickup truck hit him. Police said his device did not have reflectors or lights.
As a result, Morris suffered grave injuries in the incident. Paramedics took him to Hendrick Medical Center North, where he later died.
The 17-year-old driver of the pickup truck was not hurt in the crash.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
