AUSTIN, TX (November 20, 2024) – The Austin Police Department identified 42-year-old Angela Cantu who died in a hit-and-run on West Ben White Boulevard on November 3.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 7:35 PM. Based on a report, the woman was on the road when a vehicle hit her and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to a hospital, where she later died.
 
The driver of the vehicle remains at large up to this day.
