Cyclist Jose Luis Nunez Identified in Fatal Accident on Alameda Avenue in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (June 13, 2024) – Officials identified 76-year-old Jose Luis Nunez who died in a bicyclist accident in the 7200 block of Alameda Avenue on May 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 1:37 PM. Based on a report, Nunez was traveling west on the eastbound lanes of Alameda Avenue at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he hit a car.
 
As a result, Nunez suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. He died of his injuries on May 24.
