74-Year-Old James Lusk Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 95 [Esmeralda County, NV]

James Lusk Identified in Fatal Single-Car Crash in Esmeralda County

 
ESMERALDA COUNTY, NV (March 8, 2023) – The Nevada State Police identified 74-year-old James Lusk of Tonopah as the victim who died in a rollover crash on Highway 95 on March 1.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 45 miles northwest of Tonopah.
 
Based on a report, Lusk was driving his black Toyota pick-up truck in the northbound lane of the highway at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. Subsequently, his vehicle crossed over the southbound lane and drove off the left side of the road, where it overturned.
 
As a result, Lusk suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Crews transported a passenger of the vehicle to the hospital for medical treatment.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
