Christopher Jenkins and Sheryl Evans Identified in Fatal Churchill County Accident

 
CHURCHILL COUNTY, NV (October 30, 2023) – The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office identified 73-year-old Sheryl Evans and 42-year-old Christopher Jenkins who died in a motorcycle accident on McLean Road on October 16.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Casey Road just before 10:00 AM. Based on a report, the victims were in a sedan traveling near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the sedan failed to stop at the stop sign. Then, a semi-truck traveling on McLean Road T-boned the vehicle. The impact pushed the sedan into a water canal.
 
As a result, Evans and Jenkins suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office, Nevada State Police, Fallon Police Department, Fallon/Churchill Fire Department, and Banner Medics all responded.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
