6-Year-Old Willow Walker Seriously Injured in Round Rock DUI Accident

ROUND ROCK, TX (August 31, 2023) – Round Rock Police confirmed that 6-year-old Willow Walker sustained critical injuries following a DUI accident on 35 Freeway on August 6.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Louis Henna Boulevard. Based on a report, Walker’s mother, Caitlin Carpenter, was driving on the freeway at the time of the crash.

At the same time, a truck was traveling on the road at a high-speed. Due to unknown reasons, the truck slammed into the victims’ car.

As a result, Walker suffered serious injuries in the incident. Crews transported her to Dell Children’s Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Officers said the driver of the truck was drunk.
