Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Pedestrian Accident on Peachtree Street in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (February 23, 2023) Houston police confirmed that a 3-year-old girl suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Peachtree Street on February 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Hirsch Road just before 10:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, the girl was playing in the street with a 10-year-old child at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a silver Toyota SUV drove by and hit the victim.
 
As a result, the girl was hurt in the incident. Police she was alert and breathing while crews took her to the hospital for treatment.
 
Police are now searching for the driver of the vehicle.
 
As of now, the cause of the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
