Truck Driver Arrested after Fatal Crash on Highway 121 at Cheek-Sparger Road in Bedford

 
BEDFORD, TX (October 3, 2022) – Police confirmed that a 2-year-old girl died in a car crash on Highway 121 on September 24.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Cheek-Sparger Road around 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, a truck was traveling northbound on the highway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it plowed into the back of a silver sedan on the passenger side.
 
As a result, a 2-year-old girl in the sedan died in the incident. In addition, there was a report on two pediatric patients in area hospitals in an unknown condition.
 
In addition, police arrested the driver of the truck. However, an investigation into the case is still ongoing.
