19-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 6, 2023) – The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 19-year-old woman suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on Stewart Avenue on January 27.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Ronald Lane just after 10:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim was walking south trying to cross Stewart Avenue at the intersection prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2004 Infinity G35 was driving east on Stewart while approaching the intersection. Subsequently, the vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, the victim sustained major injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
 
The juvenile who was driving the Infinity did not show any signs of impairment.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
