Carson Santos Identified in Fatal Watershed Music Festival Accident in Grant County

 
GRANT COUNTY, WA (August 23, 2023) – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office identified 19-year-old Carson Santos of Puyallup who died in an accident during the Watershed Music Festival.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at the Pivot at the Gorge campground. Based on a report, the victim was running beside a Toyota Tundra towing a wake surfing boat at the time of the accident.
 
When he attempted to jump onto the boat, he lost his footing and fell to the ground. The trailer ran over him.
 
As a result, Santos suffered grave injuries in the incident. AMR and CrowdRx airlifted him to Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus in Wenatchee, where he later died.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
