19-Year-Old Caleb Goodwin Killed, Jassiel Juvera Arrested for DUI in Motorcycle Crash on Nogales Highway at Delta Road [Tucson, AZ]

19-Year-Old Caleb Goodwin Identified in Fatal Tucson Crash Involving DUI Driver

 
TUCSON, AZ (June 13, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department identified 19-year-old Caleb Aaron Goodwin who died in a motorcycle crash on South Nogales Highway on June 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at East Delta Road around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, Goodwin was driving a black 2022 Honda CMX500 motorcycle south on Nograles prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, 20-year-old Jassiel Jimenez Juvera was driving a silver 2008 Ford Focus. As Juvera attempted to make a left turn onto west Delta, the Ford hit Goodwin.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
His adult-female passenger was transported to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
 
Officers arrested Juvera on felony charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
